STAUFF Poland: 2 Decades, Many Achievements
In September 2004, STAUFF Polska Sp. z o.o. opened its doors as a sales office in Gdynia – the start of a success story that has now lasted two decades. Today, 20 years later, we proudly reflect on a strong presence and continued development in Poland. Our Polish branch has established itself as a reliable and successful part of the international STAUFF Group and makes a significant contribution to the global growth of our company.
An Internationally Connected Company with Local Roots
As an internationally operating company, STAUFF is represented worldwide. From our beginnings in Germany to our expansion in Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Oceania – STAUFF is a global partner for hydraulic solutions. Poland plays an important role in this, and the continued development of our branch there demonstrates how successfully we operate worldwide.
STAUFF Poland started with just three dedicated employees: Barbara Girulska, Miroslaw ‘Mirek’ Lagod, and Tomasz ‘Tomek’ Kazmierczak.
Barbara, who led the company from the beginning, retired in 2015. Since then, Mirek has been the Managing Director and Tomek his deputy and authorised signatory. Both have been with the company since day one and have been instrumental in the branch's development.
A Constantly Growing Location
From the outset in 2004, STAUFF Poland has actively participated in the market. A milestone was our participation in the HPS trade fair in Katowice – a strategic decision that gained us important contacts and visibility from the start. Since then, participating in national trade fairs has become a key part of our sales and marketing strategy – just in September 2024, STAUFF Poland exhibited for the first time at the Agroshow at Bednary Airfield near Pobiedziska.
In 2007, we moved to Miszewko, where we expanded into a larger area to better serve our growing customer base. The location was further expanded in 2021/2022, with a clear focus on optimising logistics and expanding our product range.
Precision and Reliability – The STAUFF Poland Success Story
What makes STAUFF Poland stand out is the precision with which expectations and set goals are met. The branch has been profitable almost from its inception and has consistently contributed to the group's financial strength. Without spectacular leaps, but with impressive consistency, STAUFF Poland has established itself as a reliable partner both within the group and for our customers.
Our products are used in many industries – from mechanical engineering and industrial hydraulics to mobile hydraulics, shipbuilding, and the railway industry. STAUFF Poland supplies renowned international OEMs as well as local hydraulic dealers and end customers.
Looking Towards the Future
As we look back on 20 years of successful work in Poland, this is not an endpoint for us, but rather an incentive to continue growing and developing. At STAUFF, we know that our strength lies in combining international connections with local expertise. With this approach, we will continue to play a leading role in the Polish market in the coming years and support our customers with innovative hydraulic solutions.
